As we dive into October, we wanted to drop a few golden nuggets your way. Whether you're new to boxing or an old pro, there's always something new to learn. Here's a quick rundown to ensure you're making the most of your training sessions:

Defence: For this month, let’s focus on resetting the guard after throwing a punch. For instance, if you’re throwing a jab, be sure to bring the left hand back to its starting position. Likewise, if you’re executing a cross, bring back the right hand. When your hands are up, you're in an active and ready position. This means you can transit seamlessly between defense and offense, increasing your overall boxing efficiency.

Growth
Push yourself a little more today. Get that extra rep in, throw an additional punch, show up on days you don’t feel like it, be it at the gym or at work. Because you can only progress when you step out of your comfort zone.
